The goal of the Davao Newspaper Library is to make it easier for anyone to learn more about the fascinating history of Davao City, Philippines.

This site lets you explore thousands of pages of local newspapers, all of which were digitized by Davaoeños in Davao City, thanks to the generous support of the Ateneo de Davao University, the Mindanao Times, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA).

The long-term goal of this project is to make these newspapers freely available to the public. If you want to help make that happen or if you want to use the library for academic research, please email me.
